This semester I did a project that involved Humanities and Physics. I learned what Drones are being used for in military purposes. What we did this semester for this project is use both Physics and Humanities. The humanities part of this project is a essay we work on talking about where I stand on when it comes to drones. The physics part of my essay is I wrote a paper talking about the physics part of my Rube Goldberg Cartoon. We also created a political cartoon that is base on a Rude Goldberg.

Humanities
We created a poster showing the political part of this project. In this project we created a essay discussing what Is my opinion on drones.You can read that on the link below. The cartoon we created it by using adobe illustrator and is made in Rube Goldberg style. The cartoon is basically about how drones have upside and also have a down side. Under my cartoon are steps my cartoon goes through as a Rube Goldberg.
Drones essay
Imagine life in America living in fear because you can not even take one step outside. It is almost as if you are a prisoner in your own home. Although people in America believe drones are helpful, they are only helping American lives. While in the middle east, civilians are being blown up. Although drones help save more troops from combat, the truth of the matter is drone use is a complex issues, because the less troops we send the more foreign lives get killed by drones.

Poetry
In the beginning of the project we analyzed poems by famous poets. Then we created our own poems about something we feel deeply about. After I wrote my poem and performed it I realized it wasn't that bad and I actually enjoyed performing it. I then watched Ricardo loeza and saw how he felt very passionate and excited to present. Then I remember that the best poems are the one that touch the audience which was true. Sonnets were the hardest for me because they were so structured and it had to in some kind of patterned. Basically a sonnets is made in a pattern and has 14 lines in total. The sonnet was the first type of poetry we try to make.
Skit
In the beginning of the making of the skits I really didn't want to do it because i usually don't come out of my comfort zone.
In my group It was hard for us to take our ideas and put them on paper. We also didn't show commitment to the skit because we were falling behind making our group frustrated. Then one day we just out of no where we started to show emotion about the skit. When we were doing our skit in front of the class I felt really nervous because we had to memorize our lines and dress how your character is. After we performed the skit I actually wouldn't care to do it again because I enjoyed it alot.

In this project we had to know the physics behind Rube Goldberg. For example we had to know what the six simple machine, Projectile motion, newtons laws, and conservation of energy.
